milan was desige as back as 1972 ,also it's a wire guided missile , it's tech has long gone obsolate , much better options are avialable today....milan has already lived it's life..

IA? They already have Milan ATGMs from MBDA, get NAG and Javlin, why would they need another one? Also PARS is meant for helicopters, as an A2G weapon. Part of Dhruv WSI induction by the end of this year?

The order for the PARS-3LR ATGM is most probably for the HAL LCH because LCH would use air-to-air missiles,anti-radiation missiles made by MBDA.

every weapon has a life , milan could be nearing the end of it's life , so IA looking for a Anti-Tank Missile again..

As I said, PARS 3 is not a ATGM for ground forces, it's an A2G ATGM for helicopters, so it's not a replacement for Milan ATGMs:

PARS was never meant for Army , infact it was Indian Navy that showed interest in PARS to integrate them to KA31 fleet

Although such missiles can be used for the anti ship role as well (smaller patrol boats), I doubt they would use it at the Ka 31, because that's the AEW varient.
