Well the thing is that Punjabi, Sindhi, Seraiki or Mahajir are not ethnicities, races or lineages. They are basically geographical and cultural identities.
Ethnicities, races and lineages are what we know as Jats, Gujjars, Rajputs, Awans, Arains, Kambohs, Pushtuns, Baloch etc and Jats, Gujjars, and Rajputs are in millions on both sides of the border and they are the same people genetically, lineage wise and in many instances even culturally with the same ancestors and forefathers. Moreover among the Rajputs most of their clans particularly in Punjab settled in the plains of Punjab after migrating from their original homeland of Rajputana which makes the present day Indian state of Rajasthan.

The script of the IVC has never been deciphered and certainly is not the same as Dravids (so Dravids can definitely be excluded), also not a single IVC site has ever been found in Ganga and Dravid region,,,, according to studies on skeletal remains IVC folks were same as neolithic farmers that existed from Indus region to Iran, todays Jatts, Gujjars Rajputs etc are descended mainly from them, not the Tamils from Southern forests BTW their are some folk who migrated to Baluchistan centuries back known as Brahui, but these folk are recent arrivals, some speculate that their language is related to Dravid languages.

Bro you are wrong here. Many Awan and Arain families belong to East Punjab who migrated from there during partition. Even Wasim Akram's family who are Arain also migrated from East Punjab.

Bro even if IVC people were not Dravidian they were a purely separate race having no relation or connection with Rajputs, Jatts and Gujjars who are actually the descendents of the Indo-Aryan, Scythian and White Huns invaders from Central Asia and actually carried out a genocide of the native IVC people. The small numbers of IVC people that survived were made slaves by these invading hordes.
Moreover there are various IVC sites in Indian provinces of Rajasthan, Gujrat and Haryana. A lot of academic material regarding these sites is available on web.
