IMI Systems, the developer and manufacturer of the Iron Fist family of active protection systems (APS), presents the Iron Fist Light Decoupled (IF-LD) on various armored vehicles of leading American and global companies at AUSA 2018, including General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) and BAE Systems.
The IF-LD systems is a hard-kill APS that provides a solution against a variety of threats such as short-range RPGs, anti-tank missiles, and more. Due to its modular design which does not require penetrating the vehicle’s roof, the IF-LD provides an operational solution for all types of Armored Fighting Vehicles (AFVs) from light armored vehicles up to main battle tanks.
