Actually, doing census in Pakistan is a very good idea provided it gives accurate results. Wondering how the Pakistan govt. is planning to weed out illegals from the census. As there are a lot of people all over Pakistan who are not really Pakistani citizens but claim to be, mainly illegal Afghans. We have all read about fake ID cards.

Why we don't close statistics department and give the funds to NADRA and ask her to devise mechanism to keep these stats updated instead of doing it after decades?

Following on from your suggestion, I Hakim Sheikh Pakistani Exile Tund wala give a suggestion that all departments in Pakistani government be handed over to the Army.

priority needs are for development purposes. cpec will boost economy, huge employment will start soon. AND IT IS TO GET AN PROPER SCENARIO OF THE POPULATION AS CURRENTLY THESE DATA AREN'T UPDATED. security is also an issue for army's involvement. they needs to identify the skilled, half skilled n unskilled masses of able peoples. and for hence, actual and authentic population data is must needed. for the sake of perfect census it's been deemed that army should use their hardcore professionalism to ensure timely operation of the census. and, moreover by this census ghq would get an image of backstabbing portion of the peoples who r involved in creating terrorism, facilitating them and help them running out while the whole program over looked from afganistan by the cia-raw-nds nexus.
