Gen Guoboxiong is absolutely powerful both in the army and politburo , and a hawk as well.

but my question is, how will Gen Kiyani play his role in FATA?

Security forces take US drone wreckage under control
Updated at: 0031 PST, Wednesday, September 24, 2008
ANGOOR ADDA: Local tribes have shot down a U.S. drone here on Tuesday, according to Geo News.

The wreckage of the devastated U.S. drone was reportedly scattered in village Jallal near Angoora Adda, eyewitnesses said.

Sources said four unmanned suspected U.S. spy aircraft came down near the frontier village of Angoor Adda in the tribal district of South Waziristan, a known haunt of Al-Qaeda and Taliban militants.

A senior official confirmed foreign news agency about the devastation of U.S. pilot-less spy plane however ISPR sources did not confirm the incident. Meanwhile the security forces have reportedly taken the wreckage under control.

PTV said that government was investigating the reports but nevertheless government sources have yet to confirm it.

US-led NATO forces killed 20 locals amid land operation here including women and children on September 3.

:Ppoor cocky US uav, of course I've read the news but I didn't mean that.

FATA might be the most unreached areas for the central government in Pakistan. Warlord Baitullah Mehsud and tribal presbyters are the actual administrators who still implement Frontier Crimes Regulations framed by the British in 1901 to keep the people of Tribal Areas under suppression. correct me if I'm wrong.

being chief of Army Staff, Kiyani has his duty on protecting Pakistani Territorial Sovereignty and maintaining social stability, but to what extent will he fight to erase Islamic extremism, as the South Waziristan is a known haunt of Al-Qaeda and Taliban militants?

I mentioned this because of concern on the Xiniang separatists who may also find shelter at the border area between Pakistan and Afghanistan.

even in business cooperation nobody develops a port for free neither a business cooperation needs an entirely new world class port not even it is requirement to build such a huge port to transport oil from there, neither the chinese are so special that they use gwadar for trade with us while the whole world uses karachi,, it has a meaning,so are the US not leaving this region,so not creating a vacant space for chinese to play their game from gwadar
if chinese use this port for their strategic benefit which doesnt mean a benefit for us on a long run or they establish a base here then they are not welcomed, better kick them when they develop it fully.
