That I do not take showmanship for substance. He lies through the teeth, says he told benazir about IJI, had good relations with Benazir. Fact - Benazir had accused him of trying to kill her (as one of the suspects).

Wrong, PPP govt accused him of being behind BB's murder, H.Gul served a legal notice, PPP had nothing and had to apologies.

Those sitting in government and crying about IJI and taking a high moral ground must not forget that their leader had made an agreement with the then military leader that allowed her to come back to Pakistan. That agreement was notorious NRO.

Wasn't that like creating an IJI? Essentially both NRO and IJI was like taking undue favors from military. So both are equal in that immoral sense.

She was even willing to be PM under Musharraf which was a pre-poll rigging of the worst kind.

Just because you have lost all your family in struggle for power does not mean Zardari gets a free pass to loot and plunder the nation.

By the Supreme Court order, this whole political class, or mafia, stands exposed. They have been dealing with military one away or another to get into power. These leaders have unreasonably given military too much political space. Its because they are corrupt and thus weak. So their moral authority is weakened.
