Gen. Dostum denied US visa over alleged war crimes

I think this showcases how bad his war crimes were that even the US was not able to look the other waym these remnants of the old age are monsters and the sad thing is that monsters breed monsters and those under his influence will try to act like him as well. Hard to believe that he held powerful offices considering the horror that is his past. Afghan govt, that is based on northern alliance cannot take action against him since it will create rifts in an alliance thus he will walk Scot free.

Deserves to be punished.

.
He is not a Tajik ;)

BTW there is a generational change coming in Afghanistan, people like him will be history. This is very normal in post-conflict countries where difficult decisions needs to be me made in order to heal the wounds. Rawanda, Sudan, Kenya are good examples of such accommodations.

No sympathy for him or the likes of him but he is reality at the moment but slowly and surely there is a change coming in Afghanistan, where the young generation are questioning people like him.

It will take time but change is coming for sure.

I am kinda getting tired of the word " audacity" kinda getting a cliche here in PDF ;)

I have no sympathy for him and the likes of him as they will need to answer for the killings they have done but in the meantime we will point fingers to Pakistan until the likes of Mullah Mansoor take shelter in Pakistan run their terror infrastructure from there. I think being honest with each other will help us in the long run.

I know you will counter this, by mentioning about TTP in Afghanistan the likes of Mullah Radio, I wont bother you with that, so the simplest counter answer to that would be that Afghanistan must target those maggots as well, kill them or hand them over to Pakistan.

Cool ?

He is your vice president not mine. I dont have war criminals running my country, corrupt, yes definitely. Its all about credibility. So when your state apparatus, which is dominated by warlords, thugs and war criminals like Dostum, raise fingers at Pakistan, talking about terrorism, it comes across as a big joke. Like terrorists talking about being victim of terrorism. Have a open mind about this and think what I just said to you.

When are you going to hang your vice president for the crimes against fellow Afghans? Worry about Pakistan later, clean your house first.

.
what's wrong in killing taliban

a valid question.

in fact it is such people as general dostum that are needed in afghanistan and rest of subcontinent.

what the usa government is angry about is that : (a) general dostum was once a officer in the afghan army during the socialist government times, (b). he kills the globally-used assets of the cia - the taliban.

if usa government is so concerned about war-crimes they should be arresting their own president obama first.

. .
These people got audacity to point fingers at Pakistan in relation to terrorism when their vice president is a war criminal.

do you support taliban??

do you support crimes like the lynching and burning of farkhunda[1] :
She was brutally and mercilessly beaten into unconsciousness. The crowd then dragged her motionless body into the street and ran her over with a car, dragging her some 300 feet. They then set her corpse on fire and watched her body burn. They used their own clothing articles (e.g. scarves and hats) to keep the fire alight, because her own clothing and body were so bloodied that they would not catch alight.

Why do you ask such inconvenient questions which make everyone uncomfortable? Let Pakistanis think that Af Taliban are their glorious freedom fighters and strategic asset to boot while Indians relive in their imagined riches no matter the farmer suicides or gut wrenching poverty. (i bring the indians in so that Pakistanis dont feel single out and ban me)

well said and well-rounded.

. . .
That is Afghan vice president, General tupac Hashish Dostum.

.
but i am not the typical internet indian... i am socialist and muslim. :)

look at my user-name and profile-picture.

please answer my questions.

Do you support Kulbashan Jadev? Do you support Indian sponsored terrorism inside Pakistan claming lives of thousands of Pakistanis? Do you support your country which has been feeding the likes of Rasheed Dostum and his northern alliance terrorist all these years?

Grow up kid. I dont give monkies if you are a Muslim. There are plenty of Muslims around who will not spare a breath to harm Pakistan.

why do you think i of all people support terrorism in pakistan, or syria for that matter??

you still haven't replied if you support taliban and farkhunda's murder or not. :)

are you a tableegh jamaati?? quite many of them in britain... apologies if you are not.

what is your enmity with abdul rashid dostum while you make no mention of mullah omar or bin laden or the fake mujahideen that cia created against the only socialist government in south asia.

by the way, dostum's history seems more nuanced :

i said "socialist and muslim" which declares that i am not nationalist indian and i look at things calmly, with nazaakat, in a big-picture manner, a "citizen of the world" manner.

Because you are the citizen of state which sponsor terrorism inside Pakistan, who fed the likes of Dostum for decades. You should know the score rather acting naive.

My support to Taliban or whoever Farkhanda is, is rather silly question. I dont know this person background, history , her views , her activities or her political inclinations to make my judgement. in nutshell, not my concern. Better question would be about my views about Malala Yousefzai. Pakistan, its people and its interests are my only concern. With regards to Taliban, by which I understand you are asking me about Afghan Taliban, the original one not the Indian sponsored TTP. From outside, looking at bigger picture, I see them as those bunch who are fighting the foreign occupation of their country and their lands, and against those Afghans as well who laid the red carpet for the foreigners to invade their country, likes of Rasheed Dostum. Any self respecting and proud citizen would raise arm against foreign occupation of his country and against those traitors who facilitated the foreigners.

Now would you condemn your country India, an state, which sponsor terrorism?

A team I have to say you are the chillest Afghan dude on this forum. I have a lot of sympathy for Afghanistan as it is a Pashtun heartland but severe mistreatment and bullying by Afghan nationals has left me vary as are many Pakistanis and have begun to see Afghanistan as a rival or a foe. I hope you can help improve relations and forget and debunk the durand line debate as Pashtuns on Pakistani side are both more plentiful and integrated as patriotic Pakistanis. I wish peace between the 2 countries but Afghanistan constantly plays not only a blame game but is locked in the Durrani era when Pashtunkhwa and Afghanistan were one.

Thank you for the sentiments, Afghans and Pakistanis must be frank but respectful to each other, we do have differences but we can only solve them if we are objective about the issues we face and not react emotionally to it.
If the Europeans can make it work so can we.

Thus I always advocate, a pan regional approach whereby we all win.

/Peace
