BAD NEWS.......... GDP IS STILL BANNED FOR CIVILS FROM LAST 2 YEARS.PAF IS SELECTING THEIR OWN CANDIDATES FROM THEIR AFFILATED COLLEGES[LOWERTOPA, SARGHODA].I THINK IT IS INJUSTICE WITH US.I REQUEST PAF TO CHANGE THEIR POLICY.

Welcome! I don't understand the issue. What is GDP? Does this mean that the PAF has many more candidates than places so can be selective to its own colleges? Most armed forces would do this if they have only a few openings.

Beta when you don't know the answer its better to ask than to speculate. for the last 2 years they have had candidates form all walks of life who qualified above 90 % and they were not selected and they picked the onces who were 98% plus. After all this DCAS Personal decided that why put more kids in the pipe line and choose the one who are already on waiting list. By end of this year they will start hiring again.
I have told a million times join CAE in the first 1 month atleast 30% of the GDP candidate leave and you can jump from CAE to GDP within a Sec.

thanks sir.but i want to tell u that candidates selection is not based on marks percentage only 50 percent marks r required.my cousin n brother has clear issb for GDP containing 65 n 74percent respectively.PAF select the candidates on the basis of their leadership quality, intelligence.sharpmindness,quick dicission during emmergence situation.PAF CADIDATES CANNOTleave paf on their own b/c they r not permitted officially.but they can be suspended during flying training due to some weakness i.e,physically unfit for armour etc.one thing more sir plz introduce ur self.

GDP IS ABBEREVIATION FOR GENERAL DUTY PILOT[FIGHTER PILOT ] IN PAF.CAN U EXPLAIN UR ANS THAT SOME ARMED FORCES DO LIKE THAT WHEN.................

Please don't explain me the standard of PAF.
You want me to Introduce my self, That's a first .Why don't you go back on the thread and read it your self.
No one knows there % of ISSB, PAF will pick up the highest %
they feel is right.
Just for your info PAF pilots can leave PAF after 14 years of service.

And what does Physically unfit for armour etc means.??
