I think they were planning to CAP the CAD at 5-6 billion which should be enough for growth at 5% until exports increase to desired level. Our foreign remittances are also increasing in double digits every year. I would rather not depend on remittance as they might plunge post COVID. Right now closure of borders has a lot to do with increased remitance. Once flight operations become normal pakistanis will be back to old habits of smuggling dollars in cash without declaring them.
