GCC Eyeing Egypt in Caliphate Drive

Actually, if Saudi Arabia supported Turkey long time ago with its oil, a dependency on each other would already result in a sort of free trade zone union. Because a country like Turkey whose industry is booming and solid craves for energy and oil. SA has the oil, we have the industry and sufficient tech. At least i hope Arabic countries and Turkey can start working very closely. Both are Sunni muslims, that is a big advantage. We can help improve your industry you can help us with capital and energy. We have so many oppurtunities. SA and other Arab countries can harvest incredible amounts of energy from the sun. Actually your dependency on oil would eventually be nullified. In my honets opinion Arabic countries should firstly develop solar panels. When they do this, they can sell their oil and improve their industry amazingly much.

There are many options for those who looks.

Due to the Many Issues in ME brother and not to mention Turkey trying to get into the EU however the future looks bright.

I'm for political unity and partnerships; but Egypt is not even on the Persian Gulf

The west doesn't even know what they are talking about. Saudi could be a great help for Egypt, aslong as they don't have any support for the Salafis. Just so you know, the Salafis in Egypt are more closed minded than the ones in Saudi Arabia, and they are growing in numbers unlike you guys, because we have a lot of poor people, and horrible education system.

I believe if Sadat lived Egypt would have been better developed, Mubarak was corrupt to the Core his corruption allowed radicalism and illiteracy to flourish.

We can always change the name :azn:

They became part because we wanted to help Islamic countries of Africa. However in most countries our Investors were met with guns so they just gave up and left.
When grain prices sky rocketed few years ago, shortages were felt every where. So the Saudi' monarchs went to Africa to secure food and livestock supplies for the next few decades, and they went on land buying frenzy in poor African countries, that inflated food prices in African countries leading to political unrest and people taking up arms to protect their future resources. There's no so called "Islamic" help but all about protecting their kingdom n interests.

I'm not saying Saudis dont help, they do and have helped muslim countries, but that financial help is very miniature as in limited to the rulers and its never felt amongst the muslim masses.

Bro no offense but the Monarch run media feeds you guys too much BS.

Saudi Arabia and Iran need to set aside their petty squabbles and rivalry. Then we can talk about progress, unity, etc.

3 gone one hanging on, if the Gulf Desires a Unified Arab World then Gulf Kings will have give up power or become like these guys

Arab cause = whatever's in the mind of Arabs, be it fighting Israel or threatening Iran.

Muslim majority countries like BD, Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei have nothing to do with any of it.
Al Qudos is not an Arab cause...... I have no problem with Iran what so ever, never fought them, and will never do.

Funny thing is there is no "Monarch" run media. But then again how would you know?? You only take "Western" and "Iranian" run media into your head.

Does anyone not agree that Egyptian culture is different to Saudi culture? Sure they may speak the same language, but I've been to both countries and the experience, environment, culture couldn't be more different imo.
Yes, that is another issue.

yes Freedom enjoyed By individuals and media In Arab world is legendary who here isn't aware of that.talking about western media last i checked 1 of the house of Saud is big time share holder in Robert Murdoch media empire which includes always anti Muslim fox so i am confused on one hand you are anti western media on another you financially support them.

So next Friday how many political opponents heads will be taken off oh my bad i meant to say criminals:rofl:

However SA will have open up even more if this is to happen, you must have a progressive Mindset. includes Human Rights and Women have to drive and Vote it's a huge task however the change must come from the Gulf first.

I would never trust SA. I think the new leaders of the arab spring would be clever to work closely with Turkey. Turkey has much more experience in the political, scientifical, infrastructurural, industrial and educational domains.

SA is a kingdom. How will a country based on kingdom and whose income is solely dependent on oil help democratic countries who want to improve its industry?

Hmmm, good point, very thought provoking.
