who has given this value to all this politicians? I don't really understand why people just throw around numbers without even knowing how many zeros exist in a million. Even if all of tareque rahman's corruption charges were true, (most isnt anyways), the number would be less than 5 million. Do you even what a billion is? there is only a handful of billionaires in this world, around 500-600 (maybe bit more or less). You think dandy dying and a few chanda of 5 lakhs and 10 lakhs made him a billinoaire and you dare make fun of people of being uneducated?
Anyways, most of people you mentioned are worth less than 2-3 million if that, thats including the unrealistic inflated house prices in Gulshan and Baridhara. Most conglomerates in Bangladesh which are diversified in garments, steel, shipping or at least has a business portfolio of at least 10-12 businesses are worth less than 100 million in real life that too excluding the debts they have which are significant more.

Religious sentiment was not an issue in BD, but after the attack on religion, now religions sentiment is active.

But apart from the religion sentiment, also the national sentiment would not give a favor to AL, as AL is also involved in many anti-state activities [like giving illegal favors to India].

And leaving the other local corruption and terrorism out of equation......

But this is not a national election. One man competing with another. Its an election to elect
individual candidates. Party support is must be secondary. And Azmat is better candidate
than Mannan. Better history better experience. Now on what basis people can choose
Mannan over Azmat.

JMB and Bangla vai had direct support from the gov. Main goal was to eliminate opposition.
But it turned against their intersts. Rab and other force uprooted them totally. And still
operation is going on against them. But they arent vanished totally. May be next they
wont get that privilage from jamat bnp. But next potential threat is HeI. Dont know
what promises bnp made to them. Though most of their points cant be fulfilled. But
they are working for bnp as bnp will fullfill their dream. Apart from this Jamat and HI's
actions are no less than a terrorist attack.
