This is about modern war, I don't know about you, but we aren't really fighting in WW2 style warfare like Ukraine does, they did that because they have no choice, but Israel has everything they need at their disposal, like us, if we can defeat Taliban tunnel and cave system while we are there, they will certainly be able to do it with their own war. This is not going to be a long war like you said, but it's not a few days excursion.

By all accounts, the Palestinians fought with great competence in direct battles with IDF forces inside "Israel".

Again, as I said before, you can believe that, or you can believe this is a ploy for Netanyahu to get what he wanted, a war in Gaza to divert all the attention toward the domestic problem.

And by the way, according to most source all but 3 settlement are already retaken, and it take them less than 48 hours to response. Hamas is facing THAT Israel force, not the one that may have dropped the ball or doing this intentionally.

Iran is selling large amounts of Shahed-136 UAVs to Russia, it is not financing anything. In fact, Iran is making money from the export of these drones to Russia. There is no 'strain' on Iran's military by the export of these drones to Russia; quite the opposite.

You still need to make those Shahed drone, and Russia is getting them in large number, that's a big part of Iran Defense industry there, you need to have people that know what they are doing to build arms, which mean if they are already using them to make drones for Russia, who else can you use to make rocket or tanks (for argument sake) for Hamas? And can you really win an arm race with Israel to begin with is a big question.

Unless you are telling me Iran is actually transferring their own existing stock and empty their own capability to help Russia, then Iran is stupider than I thought....

Well in general conscription soldiers are less capable.
But Israel also seem to have a lot of young, party going type of soldiers/women soldiers who have not really seen battle??
The weak resistance and the large amount of surrendering soldiers definately dents Israel supersoldier image.

Iran has supplied the Palestinian resistance forces with rifles, rockets, ATGMs and everything else they need. Most importantly, they provide them with the means to become self-sufficient in the production of this equipment.

I think you have no idea about the size of the Iranian military industrial complex. It is many magnitudes larger than you imagine, and undoubtedly larger than Israel's.
