Masjid doesn't mean (the place that was built when islam appeared to worship Allah ).
all the messenger before Muhammed P.B.U.H were muslims, islam doesn't mean the message of Muhammed , islam means submission to Allah.

all the places used to worship Allah before islam were also called Masjid. Al-Masjid Al-Haram was built before Muhammed, does that means it's not an islamic site?
