15 percent hike in gas tariff has been announced by government for domestic and industrial consumers and 100 percent for fertilizers.
Notification will be issued after decision of Sindh High Court, Petroleum minister Dr Asim Hussain said.
He said that the issue of distribution of gas to four independent power producers (IPPs) will be referred to Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the cabinet.
Gas supplies for CNG stations and industries will be cut for two day in next winter, he said.
