"If you underestimate your enemy, they gonna kill you"
It's always good to hear the same story from others' mouth, in Gelibolu, the history recorded this event as a lesson taught well by the people who intented to defend their country. I just can't find a single word to describe them.. What they have done were above heroism and human capability. Power superiority just sank down against faith, thousands of Anzacs were sacrificed.. But you know what Ataturk said about those young souls who intended to take over his homeland ;
"Those heroes that shed their blood and lost their lives... You are now lying in the soil of a friendly country. Therefore rest in peace. There is no difference between the Johnnies and the Mehmets to us where they lie side by side now here in this country of ours... you, the mothers, who sent their sons from faraway countries wipe away your tears; your sons are now lying in our bosom and are in peace. After having lost their lives on this land. They have become our sons as well."
This lesson is even better for the humanity..
