Indiam government is secular. The state is secular in dealing with its citizens. That's why a Muslim can become President of India and a Sikh it's prime minister. While Pakistan can't even appoint a economist in advisory role due to his religion.

Every citizen has his right to privacy and freedom. The freedom also includes the right to criticise and even hate until it's not harming anyone. Fundamental rights and constitution are beyond you though.
