Funeral Cermony of Mumtaz Qadri

These people attending the funeral are all Sufis belonging to the Barelvi Group. The majority group in the country.

I have the same opinion previously but people of other sects are also there and are openly condemning this hanging like Ameer e Jamaat e Islami.

Approximately 100k people were there. Our public is emotional, if one investigates himself, he will come to know that Salman Taseer did not commit any blasphemy. He was falsely accused and murdered by the one who was supposed to protect him.
Having said that, I was not in the favour of capital punishment for Qadri, I hoped that Taseer's relatives will forgive him but that didn't happen. Had Taseer's relatives forgiven Qadri, an example of tolerance would have been set.

Our people must understand the difference between blasphemy and the criticism of blasphemy laws. Salman Taseer had himself said that any sane Muslim cannot even think of insulting our Holy Prophet, but sadly, it is very easy to issue fatwas in Pakistan.

Those are government workers offering the salat e janazah for Mumtaz Qadri. You dont do sajda shareef in such a salat (namaz). So, they found the only place, which is on top of the lorry!

No. You are not being truthful. Please speak the truth. Thousands of lawyers, businessmen, teachers, students of universities and colleges, are in the funeral., and around the country praying in absentia.

Its a gathering of COMMON religious Pakistanis,hundreds of thousands of them.

Not excatly. Though I strongly support His Execution. I would have attended his Funeral prayer. And many did attended just because he was MUslim. Nothing wrong there. But those who attended for what he did is worrisome.

Trust me mate all of these people are same Green Pagris who have nothing to do in life but to sell their brand of Islam in form of Books and CDs just to make some money. A person who has even a little understanding of Islam and teachings of prophet mohamad will never get involved in such act. They simply cant justify this act under any Hadith or Quranic verse so they have came up with their own brand of Islam in which just calling a person Kafir makes him kafir.
