Frontier corps under assault in Baluchistan. Where is the action?

It has been reliable confirmed that our forces have hit a major Daesh base.... Its a whole base of operations .... It is currently surrounded.... Expect major fights and casualties on both sides.... Atleast it is confirmed that they can't run away, so they'll have to be flushed out....
Heavy fighting is still going on... Expect alot from both sides in the coming days...

When will ISPR press release come?
Were the SSG who were martyred fighting the same group?
Dozens...

Narrow valleys don't allow accurate targeting.

That's are numerous videos etc of them operating in Pakistan.
Videos??Which ones??

You do know Duggal was asking for action by Pakistan at the SCO while Iran has maintained the position as well.

Both such claims have been classified as baseless allegations for political gains by Pakistan who has not let hardcore terrorism crawl back the space it lost half a decade ago.

Well props to the army for taking care of ISIS.I can probably see the end of IS Wilayah Pakistan. But we need an op against the Baloch terrorists.

Though I can't say for sure, but you'll probably see lots of BLA BRA big wigs killed in the coming days....
Is there a current op going on against the terrorists?

I've seen many people talking about the pak army/ssg base being built or something.

Also what's the status of UCAV support for Army/FC?

Absolutely. Wide area surveillance (powered with AI) has been around for more than a decade. It should be developed for our own drones. The product is called “Gorgon Stare”

paired with small runways and drones to follow up on leads from what is identified from the wide area surveillance drone feed, can go a long way in preventing attacks, and linking shooters with their bosses.

here is a practical example; including watching the bosses in the shadows paying for a murder. Btw, the resolution on gorgon state is reportedly much higher than this, and that was ten years ago. With the military’s need to not only do force protection but protect everyone that could be targeted in Baluchistan specifically and the need to protect CPEC projects, it makes sense to work with Chinese industry to work on a modern pod that can fit on the WingLong II drones and fly circles over key areas. Processing the data and sending it on to the forces to launch smaller drones to further investigate will not only help the forces do their job safely but give China valuable training experience, for use in war zones or standoffs with the likes of India, creating a better platform for the sensor —> decision-maker —> shooter process.

these should be paired with SIGINT drones like the one from a Turkey, and for MRAPs closing in on suspected should use IMSI catcher to find the suspects phone and build evidence for a legal case as needed.

Something like this can be a game changer for our cities. If you can find where your enemy came from and where he went, you've already won half the battle.
@PanzerKiel @waz we need something like this in larger cities, as well as large open areas of Balochistan and Ex-FATA, just think how quickly we'll be able to clamp down on scums.

one of these systems could cover a circular area with a radius of at least 5 kilometers, and that was the camera technology 10 years ago. A system like this operating above high crime areas tied in with CCTV footage. This system could be made easily with China, the maker of so much Camera equipment for the world. All this for a relatively modest price.

It would indeed be a game changer. One solution for simple version of this was to put thousands of cameras from the latest smart phone into a giant curve surface and sticking all the images together gave this product. A full version would require the latest in camera technology and thousands of cameras.

Finally some good news

And if we put in EO/IR capabilities, with a solar powered hybrid drone (Boeing Solar Eagle), we'd have capability to loiter in a place for months, discretely gathering intelligence.

Even better a blimp. Stay up for days or weeks. Relatively low maintenance. Btw the pod for gorgon stare could easily fit on our new WingLong II drones. It would also be good for flying over convoy routes. Preventing convoys from being ambushed

The more modern system is called Argus, this too was operational 8 years ago.

I was saying drones because they can fly from one region to another and probably because a balloon or blimp has to be tethered (I think) and has a bigger surface area and a lower altitude, so they'd be easier to detect (especially in case of Balochistan).
