We have invited China to do joint ops with Pak Army. Many ops have been conducted with our Chinese brothers in far northern areas bordering China. There was a thread a few days ago about Pakistan seeking international help for terrorism, now who that help could be? ? You guess, USA is already in Afghanistan, Pakistan would never trust Americans on pakistan soil. The only close friendly country we have is China.

And shame on indians for commenting irony irony on that thread.

Pakistan is seeking help to solve a problem it created for others which now has backfired . The tail is now wagging the dog as they say.

The moot question is that is Pakistan serious in solving the problem ?

Why would the Chinese accept the ' invitation' ? That would be a perfect disaster for them for it would then put China of the official radar for Muslim fundamentalist world wide & give US & others a window of opportunity to exploit.Not to mention joining the list of superpowers who burnt their hands & reputation in the NW part of Pakistan / Af. China is doing well to keep things low key . Advise & material help is all that Pak should expect, no boots on the ground. Clear your mess yourself - that's how the world runs.

Why does Pak not go whole hog against the bad guys . why does the PA seek ' support' from the people for doing what it should to save the nation ? Did it take approval before taking over the nation ?

You cannot forever run with the hare & hunt with the hound.

Finally, it establishes the point that now in Pak there exists a third power center - GOP, ISI / PA and the Taliban. The second & third are entrenched with little difference amongst them enjoying a symbiotic relationship.

Only, the Taliban use ISI funds and spend their way.

We haven't seen the last of this.

Pakistan should allow the Chinese military unlimited access to its borders to allow the Chinese to take any action they need to take. If our proud army can sit by when americans bomb our country, why can't we get our real allies to sort out any mess they need to deal with?
