What's new

From assault to sniper rifles, machine guns to carbines, soldiers yet to get basic infantry weapons

Even certain sea countries military can knockout IA

What is amazing is that while the whole world has replaced their 7.62mm calibre rifles with 5.56mm ones, India is switching from 5.56mm to 7.62mm calibre.

A licensed production from either US or Russia with their latest rifles simply can't go wrong, just negotiate for the best price among the two.

India is one of the few countries that has had the experience of constant warfare against terrorists and insurgents. Do you have nay idea how much damage is inflicted on a wound with both types of bullets? The 5.56 was allowing terrorists to be injured and yet continue to fight to the death. The thinking by military planners back then was to injure o r maim thereby forcing other ppl to help the wounded. But that school of thought is outdated because what they learned is many fighters are willing to fight to the death.

Instead its better to use a bigger bullet and left them die. If you need to let them live, fire at the lower extremities and hope for the best.
