Frightened of Narendra Modi, Dawood Ibrahim shifts base

Wtf another ignorant story by Indian media. Like he informed them that he fears India and shifting away from sea. Like he is more safe at Pak-Afghan border :S

Someone sure is running scared!!!

turkey_running_scared_1_.jpg

Now even the ISI is after him to blow him up before he gives out state secrets to RAW after he's feathered!!

That's also in my mind. When the heat will begin to rise (like some failed attempt on his life(god forbid he gets no second chance)), ISI will definitely take care of him and put Chota **** on the driver seat. And we will hear that the Don has vanished into thin air!!

Surely it would be easier to take him out near the Taliban-controlled areas where he now resides thanks to the porous Af-Pak border?

He has just shifted himself closer to those infamous Indian "consulates" in the south of Afghanistan hasn't he?

I would rather everyone laid off talking about him until he is either killed or captured, until then it is just going to descend into Indian frustrations vs Pakistani denials/belligerence and every thread on this topic will become a troll fest.

Yes, Modi and his army of fairies and unicorns are feared throughout the subcontinent.
What are you talking about sir? As the PM of India his army is the INDIAN army and they aren't exactly made up of make believe characters.

@Topic, I hope Modi fast-tracks the plans for establishing the Indian SOCOM and then give them a free hand to do whatever

So....he was never afraid of Congress. Proof that Congress as a political party is dead. They are incapable of anything. I hope some Modi supporters start jotting down all this information to be used in the re election campaign in a few yrs. This type of info will serve well.
U dont need to be critical of every news about modi, just enjoy the show or else let others ....

Mumbai
: As Narendra Modi is set to become India’s Prime Minister, country’s most wanted underworld don Dawood Ibrahim has gone hiding to an undisclosed location near Afghanistan-Pakistan border, which is under the control of Taliban. His earlier base was Karachi.

According to a report in DNA, Dawood feared a commando-type operation and is supposed to have relocated his base to a remote corner. Reportedly, don has also got the ISI to upgrade his security.

The report quoted an intelligence report as saying, "With Modi coming to power, he is mortally afraid."

During the election campaign, Modi had given a statement to a Gujarati news channel saying that if he is voted to power, he would bring Dawood Ibrahim to India from Pakistan. Now that Modi is in power, the broad anticipation of the intelligence community is that he will tighten the screws on don.

Indian Intelligence believes that the underworld kingpin lives in Karachi. Although, in an exclusive interview with Mail Today, deserter gangster Chhota Rajan had said Dawood lived in Gulf region.

Frightened of Narendra Modi, Dawood Ibrahim shifts base
BS !!!!! this guy left Pakistan a few yrs back, he is somewhere in the gulf. i refer you to the interview that chota rajan gave to a tv channel . not to mention that the mumbai police are looking at the gulf region for him.

It wouldn't be the Mumbai in that case would it? It would be IB and RAW?

Also I find that hard to believe to be honest, Pakistan is really only the last haven these scumbags have in the world. Gulf countries are largely on favourable terms with India and would hand over such people to India if they were on their soil and have done so in the past, even Pakistan's historic friend S.Arabia (see Jundal).

" Asia Counter-terrorism in India Do Lali A good run for Indian intelligence Sep 7th 2013 | DELHI ANOTHER week, another arrest. On September 4th Indian security forces nabbed a commander of Hizbul Mujahideen, one of five militant groups at large in Kashmir, a region run by India but claimed by Pakistan. The commander, Talib Lali, has been active in the Kashmir valley for 15 years. He was taken with two others after a brief shoot-out. A middle-sized catch, Mr Lali may spill details of the Islamist group’s local operations, especially how it raises and moves its cash. For India, it is handy propaganda, the latest in a string of summer successes against militants. Two earlier arrests made bigger headlines. On August 16th Indian authorities crowed that they had picked up Abdul Karim “Tunda”, a bomb-maker for the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba. He is said to have been behind over 40 bombings in India, but is believed to have kept out of the country. Officially, he was taken on the Indian border with Nepal, after clever police work. More probably, somebody handed him to the Indians at the frontier. Advertisement Then, on August 28th, India’s security agencies boasted of grabbing Yasin Bhatkal. Mr Bhatkal, the operational head of Indian Mujahideen, a dangerous home-grown terrorist group, is accused of a variety of terrorist attacks. Most striking, closed-circuit television footage in February 2010 appeared to show him placing a bomb at a German bakery in Pune in Maharashtra state. The explosion killed 17 people. The official story is that Mr Bhatkal was found in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, which borders Nepal, but that he had previously been living in Pokhara, a tourist town in Nepal where he had posed as a doctor. Credit for his capture may go to India’s Intelligence Bureau (IB), which has close links with Nepal. But, as with Mr Karim, help may also have come from farther afield, possibly the United Arab Emirates. India’s two main intelligence bodies, the IB (mostly domestic) and the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW, for foreign work), have limited capacity. Ajai Sahni, of the South Asia Terrorism Portal in Delhi, says that their resources are stretched thin. The IB has around 19,000 staff in total, and RAW about 12,000. If these numbers seem ample, they include everyone, from drivers to secretaries; and never forget the Indian bureaucrat’s genius for indolence and paper- pushing. Yet the agencies are growing more effective. Mr Sahni points to over 850 arrests of militants since 2008, including more than 80 this year. Some success is due to better co-operation with foreign intelligence agencies. Mr Sahni mentions help from Saudi Arabia and the UAE, especially since the Mumbai terrorist attacks of November 2008. Oman is now willing to deport suspects to India, whereas five years ago it was not. Behind the growing co-operation lies American pressure. Just as important, once-haughty Indians are more willing to ask for help, and to share intelligence of their own."
