The long stay in China is part of the "Jeanne d'arc" mission,it combines four objectives : an operational mission (the vessel evacuated around a hundred of French and foreign nationals from Yemen); a collaborative mission (interoperability with major allies and bilateral training with the local navies); a large-scale mission (naval support for diplomacy and exports) and a training mission for the 146 cadets on board.

The Duxmude will be given a proper welcome by the Imperial Navy, I mean, the JMSDF!

with the Russia-France Mistral conflict happening in the background, how crazy would it be if Russia asked a Chinese court to confiscate the Mistral ship and hand it to Russia? that would be crazy. lol

That‘s a scary thought lol. Though it would be nice if China can somehow mediate the sale
