French girl strips atop sacred Uluru , sparks Australia wide outrage .

Why would you strip dance on top of Uluru. I don't understand why someone would do that.................................

. . .
I'm with the french chick, if the site is regularly used for naked dancing, then is it offensive just because she is french?

You obviously don't understand what the site is used for.

It certainly isn't used for "naked dancing" The aboriginals have a sacred dance that they perform in rituals and in these rituals they are wearing traditional dress which covers the private parts of your body and thats it.

It's utterly moronic for this girl to say "oh im dancing naked because aboriginals do it"

The reason people has taken offense

1. She isn't performing a ritual, she is just stripping off for the hell of it and dancing 2. She is not allowed to perform any ritual as she is not part of the aboriginal clan that owns the Uluru land.

Basically it would be the same as me walking into your house, getting naked and dancing around your house. That's how the everyone see's it here.

The name Alizee surprised me. I though it was the singer Alizée Jacotey. Damn she is hot.

Turns out this one is an Arab origin "exotic dancer".

That was the first thing that came to my mind too.

  I was expecting the image of both of them not just the Uluru.

This is the video , she is striping atop uluru with her boots on which is extremely offensive according to Aboriginal beliefs.

Aboriginals believe that Uluru is the source of life , water , food and everything that keeps human alive and humans themselves too.

What a disrespect !

YouTube - French-Arab Alizee Sery performs 'sacred dance' on top of Uluru (Ayer's Rock) in Auz!

Hey, she looks like one of your 'Kings Cross' strippers; so much for her "sacred dance" BS!
i understand your beef with the French, but is this 'lady' French or Arab or whatever?
Finally, i wish she had taken her boots off, (gets so hot there) she'd have scorched feet well- never been able to dance again.

Whether it is French or Chinese or anybody els ein the world.. I would first say respect the humanity.. Don't be superstitious over unnatural things like treating a rock or stone as a holy thing. Don't get carried away like what our ancestors believed. In my sence, the native Australians 500 years ago would have climbed up that rock and I don't know whether they were wearing dresses duirng that time... so I guess she would have stripped out of excitation.. It happens in sports field.. recently New Zealand soccer player has also removed his t-shirt after his first world cup goal.. they do it out of excitment. No harm in it..

Some say 20000, some say 40000, 60000, others even say 80000. Provide a linky plox.

I think if IIRC the Australian Aboriginals are the only people that never invented the wheel.
