French company to put $1.2 billion in India

:DSurveilance system.

Will it be comparable to Chinese ones. China can literally monitor every inch of the street in every city.
Hope some one invests in street lights and emergency phone & alert systems. This will give some sense of security and prevent rapes.

Traffic management ? The best first step towards this in India should be to ban privately-owned personal transport ( cars and two-wheelers ) and replace them with increased and efficient buses and taxis. This will vastly reduce pollution, accidents, crime and chaos both on the roads and in people's psychology. Would be greatly good for India and for the world. The world because India is probably among the top three polluters in the world - the other two being China and USA. In 2020 most of the top 50 most polluted cities in the world were in India.

Even Buses and Taxis are not good. They pollute a lot. Only Cycles and Rickshaws should be allowed or people should just walk. It is much healthier.

If by rickshaw you mean a human-pedaled cycle rickshaw will you take one for the five kilometers distance to your workplace or school every day ? :) And think about the chaos of so many rickshaws which will be no different than the currently private cars and two-wheelers. And how will you convince someone currently driving an autorickshaw or a taxi to pedal a cycle rickshaw ?

As for pollution by petrol buses and taxis they at some point can be instead powered by the nuclear-waste carbon-14 radioactive battery called Nano Diamond Battery which is currently under development and is designed to convert residual radioactivity to electricity. And then there is research on how to imitate the electricity-generating properties of the electric eel to power electric devices. Please read this thread of mine.

Private houses shouldn't be allowed either. Communal/dormitory type buildings should be built with big halls and bunker beds.

Boutiques shouldn't be allowed either. Instead everyone should wear jumper suits like prisoners or may be scrubs like medical staff.

No private mobile phones. Just have landline phone per building.

No personal computers either. Use a desktop computer provided at the dorm.

No different brands of shampoos/conditioners/soaps etc.

The need for all these fancy transport vehicles like Buses, Autos, Taxis, Motored two or four wheelers arise from the fact people are buying homes away from their workplaces. India should mandate that anyone who wants to do Business needs to provide housing and facilities to their employees. You go to any PSU, they have their own employee quarters, schools, hospitals, playgrounds and shops all built next to the factory. People do not need any special transport system and walk to any of these places.

What about someone who founds a startup company with four people ?

Private ownership of any kind shouldn't be allowed, be that vehicles/houses/businesses or anything else.

About businesses even I a Communist won't go that far, heh heh. But yes, like I said privately-owned personal transport vehicles should be banned though privately-owned service vehicles ( food delivery, construction trucks etc ) can be owned. Houses, well, the governance system should build high-quality neighborhoods ( I will describe in another thread ) with the land under those houses being owned as a Commons - owned by society and managed by some committee.

Well Government can help smaller companies open shop in a certain zone and make an IT park colony.

Yes that can be the way for technology companies but what about say an art gallery or a tea house for within the city ?

Smaller shops can build a room or two for the employees on the top floor of their shop.
