France is looking to move ahead of USA and Israel as india,s biggest Arms supplier in future

They have agreed to block military support to PAKISTAN AGOSTA programme & mirage fleet AND are loking to set manufacturing hubs for both rafale fighters & Panther meduim lift helicopters

This is a major effort to win huge slice of the indian arms market.

USA have also offered F18 and F16 production hubs

Supply hubs are geared to serviucing fighters all over the world and win major contracts in India eventually

Don't think it will affect Pakistan in anyway, the Agostas are being upgraded by the Turks even though the French objected to it while the Mirage III and V series have long been removed from French service and Paf has enough stock of spares for them and has been overhauling them locally for decades.

It's unlikely the Indians will buy the F.16, there is a chance of a Super Hornet sale but not for vipers.

india already builds its owns choppers with the

DHRUV series and Soon the light attack choppers are coming

They have good pedigree in this field now

IMO this move will not have any major impact. Previously when French denied EW suite for JF-17, Pakistan turned to other resources.
Upon refusal of engine from potential source Pakistan de-linked the engine/frame combination to minimise the affect on project and hunted other sources. The efforts and strategy proved to be successful - ALLAH SWT bless the souls of Kohat air crash victims.
