Why do these officers who die are buried and their family can be seen who belong from Low-Mid class? Never seen any son of high ranking officer being posted into such area. These poor guys just get passed out and instantly deployed to either Waziristan or LOC. There are few cases where children of high ranking Military were posted into such terrain. There was recently a case I witnessed. Where 3 young 2Lts were posted into the same area in Waziristan. Their post was ambushed but luckily they repulsed the attack. One of those 3 guys was instantly called off and sent to an unnecessary course since his unit was officially posted into the area. Therefore he managed to evade the situation.

I accompany a body of Shaheed (Swat valley operation) son of a businessman, was the first person from his family who join and serve Pakistan army....now his younger brother and his cousin also joined forces and serving.

Majority officers got martyred in recent operations were from middle and upper middle class background.

Don't make assumption, regardless of family background our brothers and sons serving the nation.
