Good news for Pakistani hockey fans -

Fortis Hospital offers Ahmed, 49, free treatment in Mumbai, Chennai; an “overwhelmed” Ahmed says all he wants now is a medical visa.

Pakistan’s World Cupwinning hockey goalkeeper Mansoor Ahmed, a sporting icon in his country especially because of his record against India, could have an Indian heart beating inside him.

Less than a week after 49-year-old Ahmed, who needs a heart transplant, made an emotional plea to the Indian government to grant him visa on medical grounds, the Fortis Group of Hospitals has offered to register him for the transplant. Fortis has also assured him that the entire treatment would be free of cost.

Don't they have heart transplant procedures happening in Pakistan?? Why India???

Good job Fortis !

Malvinder Mohan Singh .. kudos

Fortis is biggest looter... they charged Rs. 9,00,000 from my friend... thats too for dengue... while 5lakh was paid by the insurance company... he was forced to pay remaining 4 lakh...

CBC while insurance @700
CBC when cover expire @ 1250

Man they are really desperate to earn money by hook or by crook...

BTW India won again and Pakistanis looser failed once again . 70 saal ho gay koi military civil hospital na ban pai jo izat rakh le . lnat hai

Nobody can build a nation if their children don't have access to proper education and medical facilities... development of human resource is mandatory to build a strong nation...

And that is the problem of Indian sub-continent...

Dengue treatment doesn't cost that much unless there are serious complications. Did your friend need ICU care?
