France's Mistral Warship Deal With Russia Is Off

You really think that the French are happy with that ? Ask to the workers at Saint Nazaire if they're happy...
It's really bad,we show again that we're an us's puppet, and it's really bad for the future contract of the french industry....
Hope our shitty president will stop this, and deliver them quicly... Serisously, what a pussy !
we need someone like Marine Le Pen as president..... @vostok

(The chantage with Russians doesn't work.)

@Gabriel92 that begs the question, Why is a country like France having a fiercely independent foreign policy, a non NATO nation and under present condition one of the more stable European economies to be under pressure to take stance against Russia?
Or is there more to the story?

.
In another 20 years we will backstab our new friend USA too.................we are like that only:devil:

Ohh man what did I just read... Indians admitting they are back stabbers hence not to be trusted:guns:

@Horus we need a new smiley regarding India.

. .
Still there are some considerations to be made as russia indeed brings nostalgia to many indians and they truly saved our ar*e from usa that time in 1971.

But yes times are changing,we are a developing country and quite poor on the top of that so we cannot afford to piss of the cash cow's of the world quite literally speaking.

But with signing of pakfa contract we will effectively put down about 35 billion over next 20 years in russian kitty not to mention various other projects so we are not really leaving them.

Yes i know, i didnt say India should/will all but abandon Russia totally. Of course it wont, India can still be closer partner/place its priorities with the west/U.S/Israel and still keep trading with Russia like it has been doing. Being closer to the U.S/west/Israel etc doesnt means India has to forego all its relations/trade with Russia. No. It just means it should know where its priorities lies, while still maintaining its trade/business relationships with its Patron Moscow. In this case, we can see how east Asian countries like China,Japan, South Korea all have huge differences/resentment/disputes etc among themselves but they still trade with each other more than any country in Asia(and among the largest in the world). Same with U.S - China or China- E.U relationship. we(U.S/E.U) still view them as rivals, but we can keep trading with them way way more than we trade with any other 'friendly' countries in Asia. But this doesnt means we are allies with them, No. Our priorities/alliance lies among our region/block while we still trade with them. So thats the point i was trying to make. India should look only after its own interests, and anything it things will benefit it, should be put into practiced, irrespective of Russian sensitivities. Afterall, India doesnt owe anything to Russia. Its not like Russia provides arms/weapons to India for free. You people have been single handedly sustaining/providing a huge boost to their military indutrial complex while you yourself are starved of funds to invest in your own weapons industry. So its not like Russia is a saint 'helping' you for free. They make huge bucks from you people. I find it funny when Indians here talk as if Russia gives them everything for free.loool A true ';best friend'for example will have long transfered its Engine tech to India.:D

As for your point about Russia 'helping' its 'best friend' India in 1971. loool Russia didnt 'help'/save India *** back then because it loves India/have brotherlee love/feelings for India:lol:. They did so because it was in their interests keeping/having a large country like India as their ally(subordinate/junior) in the region, to counter the U.S and China influence in the region, without mentioning selling their own weapon systems to India and acting as a benefactor. Any other world power/super power back then would have done the same thing if it was in Russia's shoes/had that capabilities. You think they intervened because they like India as a friend?lool Nope. Just like the Chinese intervened in Korea(and lost hundreds of thousands of soldiers) for their own interests/it was in their best interests to do so. Not because they love Kim/North korea communist or whatever, smae with their intervention/support for the Vietcong during the Vietnam war. It wasnt because they loved them as friends or whatever. lol

AGAIN I REPEAT: THERE ARE NO FRIENDS IN GEO POLITICS, ONLY INTERESTS. :chilli:

.
Well the Soviet Union was like a big brother to us and we are forever indebted to them for their unconditional support and help all throughout this time.Russia is the heir of the USSR's legacy and hence it is as important to us as USSR was.She will always be a special friend to us.The common people in India have got great respect for Russia as a friend and that perception is not going to change in the near future.Although i do admit that there has been some misunderstanding between us at present due to the utter stupid foreign policies taken by the previous Congress led Govt. who did everything they could to get cosy with the U.S. the present Govt. will take a more pro-Russian foreign policy to clear all kinds of misunderstanding with them.Russia was,is and always will be an all weather reliable friend of our country:coffee:.

Now you are sounding like Pakistanis members you people make fun of.

PAPA Russia is an all weather friend indeed.

lool well it might sound like France is a puppet. But i dont think it is the case. France is doing this simply because it(like the E.U) wants to send a clear message to Russia to stop their agression/support of the separatists in eastern Ukraine. This shows the west/U.S/Japan are united against Russia's actions. We have already accepted Russia's illegitimate take over of Crimea from Ukraine, but instead of stopping there(like it should have done), it still wants more of eastern Ukraine. Russia should know that eastern Ukraine is different from Crimea, there is no way Russia's mercenaries/seperatits in East Ukraine are going to prevail, except Moscow intervenes directly with a massive invasion of Ukraine. Short of that, i dont see the mercenaries/militants winning. So i fail to see what Putin is thinking. Maybe he just wants to keep supporting the rebels so they can drain Ukraine physically and financially until its bankrupt. I think thats their game plan. Since Putin himself knows that there is no way the seperatists are ever going to totally defeat Ukraines regular army. So dont know why he keep insisting on supporting this rebels, instead of pressuring them to sit down and find a peaceful solution to this crisis.
Anyway time will tell what happens to Russia economically as the sanctions keeps on biting.

Well there is a difference between us.USSR literally saved our a$$ back in 1971 when the U.S.(your PAPA and master for well over the last 6 decades:rofl:) nearly invaded us.Plus USSR was our biggest financial donor since independence. They helped us with literally everything even provided us with aircraft on barter system when we were running low in FOREX reserve back in the early 70s.So we are not an ungrateful bunch of people unlike some other ones to forget all the good things that the USSR did unconditionally for our country:cheers:

Even more funny was the role of Catherine Ashton and Victoria nuland in helping the right sector kooks topple yanokvich in ukraine and bring a junta to power. West is creating chaos everywhere.
