You can certainly see the extent europe is going to to try and keep the jcpoa alive,why they`re practically bending over backwards,you can really see how much zarifs "smiling" diplomacy paid off big time with the west.I mean thank god international diplomacy is all about being popular,just imaging how awful it would be for iran if zarif and rouhani werent such popular guys in the west.
I dont know about the rest of you,but I think appeasement is a great policy and for the life of me I just cant see why its got such a bad rep historically.

France halts Iran's Mahan Air flights under US pressure

France has joined a number of other governments in halting flights by Iran's Mahan Air in and out of the country under heavy pressure from the United States.

France's move came after it claimed that the Mahan Air is transporting military equipment and personnel to Syria and other countries in the Middle East, diplomats said on Monday.

"We knew of their activities from our own intelligence services and after the German move it was a question of credibility," a French diplomatic source was quoted by Western news outlets as saying.

The French ban will take effect as of April 1.

The Iranian airline, which has been under the US sanctions, flew four flights a week to France’s Charles de Gaulle airport in Paris, according to its website.

The decision to revoke Mahan Air's license, which is Iran's second-largest carrier after Iran Air, was made after Germany also banned the airline in January under the same accusation.

Iran slammed Germany's "hasty and unjustifiable" move to revoke the license of Iran’s Mahan Air, saying the decision ran counter to the spirit of deep-rooted relations between the two countries.

I forgot during the “tough talk” era of Ahmadinejad that Iran’s oil not only got sanctioned, but Iran was also cut off from SWIFT as well.

So it Doesn’t matter who you throw out there, US foreign policy against Iran is to seek capitulation. And when you use private airlines to funnel arms they then can get flagged by foreign countries.

You think Iran would accept a Saudi Arabian airline landing in Iran if it was found that it was funneling arms to jihadist groups?

Iran knew this was a possibility thus I doubt they are surprised.
