We are simply unable to get rid of IEDs and only time we do is when FC vehicle hits one. Such a shame. FC comes under interior ministry which is run by army's point man Sheikh Rasheed. He is to be blamed directly for all this loss under his watch.

Every country literally every country which has faced insurgency or even come close to facing it has gone and ordered MRAP and they for sure have reduced deaths of their soldiers. Then comes our leadership. Man o Man this leadership have blood on their hands.

Involvement of Iran should not be considered as a Shia-Sunni conflict.

Though Pakistani Government was/is always tried level best to have cordial relationship with Iran, but Iran was/is always doubting Pakistan's sincerity.

Obvious reasons:
1. Pakistan's relationship with SA and UAE.
2. Pakistan's relationship with US and NATO countries.
3. CPEC through Gwadar - direct competition with Chabahar.

Not only that, there were number of occasions where Iran openly stand against Pakistan. Recent Panjshir issue is one of the examples of Iranian out burst. Kulbhushan Sudhir Jadhav arrest in 2016 also revealed Iranian involvement in harbouring Indian terrorist cells and RAW agents on its soil. Similarly recent arrest of terrorist confirmed that suicide bomber who targeted the Chinese convoy in the vicinity of Gwadar came from Iran. Moreover, most of the terrorist activities including terrorist attack on Gwadar Luxury Hotel in 2019 was also carried out by the Iranian insurgents.

IMO, Pakistan and China need to force Iranian Government to stop covert insurgencies inside Pakistan, eradicate all terrorist camps located on their soil, arrest or eliminate any rough elements of insurgents (BLA, BLF, TTP, ISIS and ISKP elements) hiding inside Iran.

Even after these warnings, Iran continued these activities, then a strong collective offensive action be taken to root out all possible terrorist cells being operated from Iran.

BLA kills FC so easily, as and when they want.
FC kills a few BLA terrorists with great trouble. Then they level the score and more within a week.
What a shame for Pakistan as a country.
A terrorist organisation is playing with the state for such a long time,.
Trouble is that same as TTP , the BLA has plenty of local support on ethnic and political grounds.

I have said it before..Only a tiny population of ethnic baloch people are very patriotic..Most are not..People who are killing FC in balochistan are ethnic baloch , not pashtun.

Dude, we need a reality check. We have internet and luxuries. Imagine our Baluch people living in Gawadar don't have drinking water, no school, and no shoes in their feet. Baloch terrorists who are actually killing FC are studying in top universities of Punjab and Sindh. They make the foot soldiers. It is the "educated" baloch youth that is involved in it. I personally know people in my university who are ethnic baloch and chant Pakistan murdabad slogans. It is not the destitute or poverty stuck baloch that is attacking FC. He is too busy earning pennies for his family.

It is actually the Range rover driving sardars and their educated minions in universities that are doing all the terrorists activities..

True, but I am not blaming to the whole Army, only the leadership... which is a fair thing, if a institution is doing bad we blame the Top leadership, similar to that we blame the Ruling elite of Pakistan for its many ills, Our current COAS has lost its track after the extension period, because in last 2 years the attacks on FC/Army has increased drastically without no concrete action has been taken, Terrorists has used literally identical tactics to attack or ambushed the troops and yet not a single time we saw a different outcome, I am unable to understand that a country like Pakistan with a 600,000+ standing army, tanks, missiles , fighters are unable to field numbers of drone to in 2 of their province for Air cover? Burraq with burq missile was test way way back and yet we haven't saw it in action why? I understand its hard to stop ambush or IED but what we can do it to provide the troops better Armored vehicles, Air coverage with Drones, so at least even if they ambush the troop at least we can kill all those who come to attack, its really hurting to see videos of BLA and TTP literally standing on their dead bodies, taking their weapons with no fear of as QRF or drone.

Top leadership of FC/Army has failed to stop such attacks, and their consistencies are just increasing by the day.

It is good to know that poverty runs rampant in Pakistan. Most of the awam is also illiterate and do not know the kind of casualties FC is suffering so no morale is affected.

Both of these factors will ensure unlimited supply of stupid men who will give their lives for nothing.Since the supply is unlimited , why would Bajwa and Co would do anything to better equip them.

Sir, that's the beauty of it although we are not qualified yet we are/can/will criticize the performance of leadership this is not a new thing, to criticize someone we don't have to be a COAS because if we were than we won't be criticizing in the first place, but the thing is if the consistencies of attacks are increasing with same pattern without any action has been taken to prevent them then yes people like us will raise question on the performance of the leadership, cause they are given this duty by the people of Pakistan, People pay taxes which goes to defense and it pays the salaries and other incentives COAS and Army leadership enjoys, so in return if we want performance, and criticize them for their poor performance its all a fair game.

my point it that in cases of ambushes, why is that our troops are so helpless that they can not even ask command for a quick Air cover, why is that Pakistan not building small forward drone operating bases, and identify the areas and categorize them into lower to higher level of threats? and based on that we can give our troops air cover when they are going for Patrols in high risk areas? Yes we can not provide many MRAPS, but why is it hard to give 1 MRAP to every patrol party and make it a SOP that in high risk areas any patrol that leaves from base, will always have a MRAP in the lead, followed by Toyota's. Sir its not hard, when there is a will there is a way, but unfortunately no one gives a Shit about foot soldiers in Pakistan as they are disposable because Top leadership don't go to front posts to fight, at least not anymore.
