Overseas Network December 24th Local time Monday (24th), former Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif (Nawaz Sharif) was sentenced by the country's accountable court to seven years in prison for corruption allegations.

In a comprehensive report by the Pakistan Daily and the Associated Press, the Pakistani court sentenced Sharif to seven years in prison on one of two corruption allegations and acquitted on another. In addition to seven years in prison, Sharif is also subject to a fine and his property will be confiscated.

The report said that Sharif still has the right to appeal the judgment. Sharif expressed his wish to serve his sentence at Kot Lakhpat Jail in Lahore, the capital of Punjab, instead of serving his sentence at Adiala jail.

The report stated that the court approved Sharif’s petition on the same day and ordered the relevant authorities to detain him at the Patr prison in Kotra. Sharif will serve his sentence at the Patr prison in Kuwait on Tuesday (25th).

As early as July 6 this year, the Pakistan Anti-Corruption Court ruled on a lawsuit filed by the Pakistan Accountability Office against Sharif and his family to obtain illegal income, purchase 4 sets of high-end properties in London, UK through offshore companies, and In the course of the trial, Sharif was sentenced to 10 years in prison on the grounds that he did not cooperate with the investigation agency. Both father and daughter were arrested and sent to prison to serve their sentences after returning from London on July 13.

On the day of the anti-corruption court verdict, Sharif held a press conference in London, saying that he refused a "politically motivated" judgment and claimed to return to Pakistan.

On September 19, the Islamabad High Court ordered the release of Sharif and his daughter Mariam on the grounds of insufficient evidence. Former Pakistani Foreign Minister, Sharif’s staunch ally, Hwaja Asif, said outside the court that the court ruled fair and congratulated Sharif’s supporters.

In July 2017, the Supreme Court of Pakistan cancelled the qualification of Prime Minister Sharif on the grounds of alleged corruption and asked the National Accountability Office to investigate the case involving Sharif and his family. He get 7 years in prison right?
In China, well do not humiliate our Supreme Leader in this way unless absolutely neccesary(Well In most cases, they will choose to commit suicide themselves to preserve their reputation)!
But that is why I admire Pakistani Legal systems!

The Chinese still will not forget his contribution to the relations between China and Pakistan, even if he is sentenced.

No politician is clean as crystal.

The election bribes in the United States and the United Kingdom are directly given.
The election bribes in China and Pakistan are given in private.
This is the only difference.

in england some of them can be put on newspaper, questioned and shamed.

in pakistan they act like gangsters when they dont even come out at night like a bunch of virgins. Nawaz sharif did not get peace in london and was shit scared. Those people were not gangs or thugs just ordinary nobody joes that don't even know how to fight. All they were doing shouting through the letterbox and sharif
a ss fell out. I wished he came to northern towns were he could have been bricked or something.
