Former 'James Bond' actor says Indian company cheated him

Pierce Brosnan, former "James Bond" actor, says he was cheated by a mouth freshener company that had employed him to promote its brand, according to BBC.
According to the broadcaster, the Brosnan has told Indina authorities that Ashok & Co, did not disclose the hazardous nature of the product,Pan Bahar.
The BBC report said that the product is linked with an addictive form of tobacco.
The actor drew criticism for appearing in the ad for a product that is associated with cancer.
Quoting an Indian health official, the BBC reported the actor in his written response to the Indian government assured them that his association with the brand was over and agreed to help further efforts against similar campaigns in the future.
He is alsos said to have condemned the unauthorised use of his image in the ad for Pan Bahar in in 2016.
The ad featuring the former "Bond" actor had drawn strong criticism from Indians who sought explanation why he was endorsing a product associated with cancer, the BBC report said.
