Compare ur self

Restrict your responses to the ALH - either it has foreign components or it does not - respond on topic or ignore and go on your way.

No need to drag the JF-17 in here since enough questions are raised in the JF-17 thread. Last warning.

If it's the BK117 why hasn't Eurocopter filed a suit against HAL/GoI?

EDIT: Oh wait, our genius Pakistani friends are once again the only ones who have recognised this conspiracy.

and i bet our "pinyin" expert lhuang still can't count from 1 to 10 in chinese:rofl::rofl:

When you have 5 hours to go from spot A to spo B ....

Does it matters if you took the bus or a taxi ... perhaps you would like to walk if that means getting to destination in 12 hours and failing your test

Now you guys happy or you still have issues with your own guys advise also. This is just for your sake. Feel free to disagree.

Well our advise will be to google the differences and then come back.

So is this helicoptor build from mainly European parts or joint venture projects?
There is nothing wrong if that is the case. We are know that India is very backward in its domestic capability and won't be able to produce a gun without assistance. To get to the top, one has to start in the base.

But it would be dishonest to hide or not admit to the fact that India cannot manufacture the components of a domestically manufactured helicoptor. Not everyone has assembly ability as assembly line is difficult to put together. Does India need foregin assistance to build the assembly line for a helicoptor. Does it have an assembly line?

there was an option for india, either choose for best or build some thing best.

As india she(india) was not capable for second option ,she went for 1`st one.
honestly india did well doing so,otherwise result would havebin like LCA or ARJUN or TRISHUL(sam) or INSAS(3rd grade rifile after years of research ,funny).
so at least indians have quite good chopper rest is secondry.
even US MBT's main gun is german.

I agree. India encounters success if its projects are joint venture such as Brahmos. If its domestic initiative, it had mainly failed miserably. These are good lessons to build upon.

ummm .... this IS on the web. :cheesy:

Its common knowledge. They didnt say anything Indian gov thinks is wrong. Its only the Indian public that enjoys living in a fantasy land.

CARE TO EXPLAIN HOW?:undecided:

BETWEEN WE HAVE GOOD MARKET FOR DHURUV . . .

HAL beats competition to supply Dhruv to Turkey

A month after striking a USD 51-million deal to supply seven Dhruvs to South America's Ecuador, India won the contract in Turkey to first lease out two ALHs for five years and later supply one more of the aircraft, but all before December this year, top HAL officials said today.

Representatives from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) won the bid late last week, beating challenges from US helicopter manufacturer Bell and European major Eurocopter, which were among the top contenders.

WE BEAT EUROCOPTER:victory: :victory: :victory:

PLEASE REPLY WITH SOME TECHNICAL INFORMATION WHY YOU CONSIDER IT AS BH-117. . . . THNX . .:smokin:

nothing like that.... still bette then the chinese... all chuinese systems are SUB STANDARD equipment as all are duplicates...

and i know faithfulguy will agree with me...coz he knows chinese are too poor when it comes to innovation...infact they cant innovate at all....

India is far ahead in terms of Innovation...

give chinese acopy they will make a sub standard copy of it....
dont give them a copy they will keep on waiting for years to get there hand on a copy...

so they are alwats playing second fiddle that too just for producing SUB STANDARD copies...which no doubt they mass product in large numbers.....

India on the other hand will tiol hard to product things and innovate n do R&D, so the end result is some faillures and lots of successes......
but India will build the best of the best as it learns deeply about the things......

THOUGH NO DOUBT I ACCEPT CHINA HAS THE ABILITY TO MASS PRODUCE SUB STANDARD SYSTEMS IN LARGE NUMBERS....APART FROM THAT THEY HAVEW NOTHING ELSE.......
