FM angry over Turkey team ICT visit

Foreign ministry sources said content of the letter from the Turkish president is not acceptable and it is a clear interference in the internal affairs of Bangladesh.

Can an international trial be the internal affairs of BD completely? Just thinking.

You are absolutely correct, int'l trial are suppose to be international standard and open for scrutiny. This is not the first time foreign obeservers came, US sent their trial expert while back at the beginning of this kangaroo court called "ICT". Now that Awami League kangaroo court scheme exposed they are out to destry Bangladesh export market, external relation to save their skin. All these Awami League crime has to be counted sooner or later, with or without these accused.

International doesn't mean any country will waltz in your countryside as and when they feel like... since you guys are so convinced that the trials are international and not an internal affair per se, so as per definition, an international group should come for scrutiny, like a formal group convened by ICJ or any UN group.

This act by turkey is a direct interference in internal affairs of BD. And any jamaat who encourages such acts since they think such dramas are going to save them, have no right to cry foul of foreign involvement in BD affairs in any matter ever after the trials get over.

Anyways, how nationalistic these jamaats are will be evident from their conduct during the trials !!

Exactly now practice what you preach and begone from this thread, bharoti.

is this the first thing indians taught to call people Jamaati. Are indians that ignorant?

we are too ignorant but educated enough to control the internal politics of a neighbourhood country.. ironical no ?

That is by your admission india interfering in Bangladesh. Then indians has no ground to tell other what to do. And no right to whine about ISI, China, or NE independence. You are classic example what india represent and india will get what it deserves.

And yeah, I also admitted I am the 100th caliph !! please ek slaami maar do

JI has presence and links with almost every Muslim country and Islamic organizations present there. Turkey and now Egypt are positioning themself as Muslim powers so its obvious why they would take such a keen interest in this issue.

I'm afraid AL has chewed more then it can swallow.

You got it. This is an International Tribunal, at the very least that is what AL is claiming.

This idiot Dipu Moni can't keep her story straight. !!!

1. The Awami League are a corrupt organization no doubt about that, but all governments are corrupt but to varying degrees.

2. Their mishandling of the whole war crimes process is a complete disgrace. Millions of Bengalis who are sincere practising Muslims (but not pro-Jamati, pro-Al-Qaeda fanatics like Idune or Kobiraaz) wanted justice and for alleged criminals such as Ghulam Azam and Nizami to be punished.

However the Awami League have:

a: Not carried out fair trials and been condemned by the international community.
b: Possibly ruined the prospect of fair trials being carried out.

3. I do not think the Awami League regime will be able to execute Jamati leaders and I have said in previous posts if they did, it could result in their overthrowal.

4. Gul and Erdogan are barbaric cavemen (who millions of Turks hate) who should shut up and not interfere in the internal affairs of Bangladesh, and stop supporting their fellow fundamentalists and extremists of "Jamat e Islami" (sic).

I would support the closure of the Turkish embassy and expulsion of the AKP ambassador if the AKP regime continues to disrespect Bangladesh in such a manner.

However Turkey as a nation and a people will always be dear to us, but not fundamentalists, extremists and backwards cavemen like Gul and Erdogan.

You are a awami fanatics whining like bostir tokai. Even at abroad you could not get rid of Awami thuggishness. Erdogan and Gul run a country, when you attack someone like that you deserve the same.

Finally this Hammer-fist exposes his true opinions and leanings. Had always suspected he was a trouble making Awami ....

I know this tribunal isn't fair.........but why is Turkey suddenly concerned about this........I mean it would be understandable if Pak or Usa got angry about it.......but what's with Turkey?

This is actually a very good question. Turkey is basically any ally of the US and since the Americans do not want to become directly involved in this ICT controversy that are getting Istanbul to do it instead. Pakistan cannot say anything because it would be harmful to the interests of the accused in the war crimes trials. Criticism coming from a moderate, powerful and influential Muslim country like Turkey would appear to be more acceptable and less easy for the AL to attack or counter.
