Nah, I think that they're just trying to be as nice as possible and not massacre people like absolute savages. We don't want a genocide in Turkey. We want dialogue. And we can't get dialogue by clearing out problems quickly through sheet military force.

Now is not 100 years ago, where Turks can wipe out 100% of Anatolian Christian. There are many mountains in Afrin, and who knows, by now they are full of tunnels and well stocked.

You wont be able to sleep, when in the middle of nights someone will fire next to your bed.

I believe that if you want to completely wipe out a guerilla group you will have to kill many many civilians in the process. This is unacceptable by Turkey's standards.
I also think that the more tunnels they find the better it will be for the rebels. Bombing a tunnel isn't really hard and usually it would eliminate their logistical capabilities. In sure that Turkey has the relevant tunnel mapping equipment to do the job. One of the good things about destroying tunnels is that you can hit them anywhere, so you can hit the entrances or an area away from civilians,minimising casualties. Especially when it is in the mountains.

Its cleaned, all they can do now is sneak from North Iraq and do guerilla attacks here and there.
They could only hold foot in recent years because they have been tolerated during peace process, after it collapsed it only took few months to completely clean pkk from SE Turkey, during the first 5 months of 2016 10772 terorists either killed or arrested.
