I think I didn't really phrase my original question well.

What I really meant to say was that "Is ISI capable of independently executing such operations" Do they have the required resources?".

As in transport, weapons, combat gear, NVG's, other specialist equipment.

again, that answer is there too and is affirmative
they are trained in CBQ, they train in hand to hand combat, small arms etc and even include ex SSG personnel.

even fit hey dont. they go through a very tough physical regime which is much harder than a regular solider's physical exercises in the units.

how do I know? well I know someone who was selected for ISI service. he had a small but a chiseled body very well defined muscles. he complained about the martial arts training he had to go through he was cagey just said that the instructors tore his legs apart to achieve full stretching.

refer to the operation to capture Khalid Sheikh Muhammad who was captured from a namehrum Jamat Harami's Aunty's home in Pindi. it was an ISI operation for example. not that the hairy fat fcker and the Jamat harami aunty would have put up any fight but you never know.

APS Peshawar attack: Five accused arrested in Afghanistan

Acting on Pakistani intelligence, Afghan security forces have apprehended five suspects for their alleged involvement in the heinous attack on Army Public School, Peshawar that had claimed lives of at least 146 people including 134 students.

According to sources, all the five suspects hail from Pakistan and are key commanders of a proscribed outfit.

The suspects carried out the planning of the APS attack and also served as the coordinators, the sources added.

The Afghan authorities have informed the Pakistani officials about their arrest while further investigation is also being made.

The sources further said that the recent visit of Pakistan Director General ISI to Kabul on an emergency basis was also linked to the latest development.

Is the ANA/NDS finally open to working with us?
I once remember seeing an interview of a general from ANA and how deeply he expressed hate for Pakistani Punjabis.
With that sort of mindset I still have doubts whether they're gonna cooperate with us or not.

They can't be trusted. I wish it was that simple - we don't have much to offer Afghanistan in return - why should they be doing us all a favor -

you scratch my back i scratch yours?
its a win-win for everybody if we track down both ttp and afg talibs in pakistan and in return they help us find and destroy high value hotspots in afg?
this way both insurgencies can end : the one n ours country as well as in afg.
if that happens i firmly believe that Afg will start to have a pro-Pakistan tilt rather than India.
But alas it depends only on Gen Raheel if he can get rid of our "strategic depth" mindset.
