Every crime the West is accusing China of committing, the West had done it to others at some point (colonization, slavery, genocide, mass incarceration). I'm suspecting that they're psychologically projecting their deep hidden urges on to China.
If anything, CCP had been a giant limp dick in Xinjiang for way too long. I especially hate Hu Yaobang and his failed ethnic policies that revived separatism and religious extremism. If it was up to me, I'd retract Xinjiang's autonomous status and turn it into two provinces. All street signs, schools and government services would be in Mandarin Chinese only instead of Mandarin/Uyghur.
