yes and there will be soon movies about shapur II zol aktaf and the hero and the ultimite destroyer and slayer and the nightmare of banu ummyya abu muslim al khorasani and the ultimate slayer of the abbasids babak khoramddin
The first one nobody other than Farsis have heard about. This was after a few thousand Arabs from modern-day Southern Iraq + Bahrain had raged havoc in Southern Iran killing many more enemies.
Abu Muslim (whose origin is unknown) (Arabized on all fronts) was the son of slaves who took part in an Arab civil war (Umayyads vs Abbasids). After fighting for his Abbasid overlords the Caliph executed him and threw him into the Tigris River.
Babak something Kawli was executed too by the Caliph. His arms and legs were cut off. He did not defeat any Abbasids. They ruled for 400 years after his death and for 300 years more based in Cairo.
Death
He was eventually betrayed by
Afshin and was handed over to the Abbasid Caliph. During Bābak's execution, the Caliph's henchmen first cut off his legs and hands in order to convey the most devastating message to his followers. He was then gibbeted alive whilst sewn into a cow's skin with the horns at ear level to gradually crush his head as it dried out.
[28]
The fire worshippers that he was allied with are today almost extinct.
Let's not even talk about who owned who more because that would be unfair for the Farsis.
@Full Moon is right. They should not be making movies about Prophet Muhammad (saws) but stick to their own figures.
The Arab Mustafa Akkad already made the most famous movie about Prophet Muhammad (saws) 40 years ago and KSA and Qatar have made the most successful (watched) TV series on Islamic history (Omar Series) a few years ago.
Nobody should watch this movie. It looks like a movie about Prophet Isa (AS) and it has been heavily criticized for historical inaccuracies and they are even apparently showing the body of Prophet Muhammad (saws) as a child.
They should stick to making posters of Hussein ibn Ali (ra) instead.
