Hong Kong does not give Michelin stars still its commendable. Congratulations

If you guys are ever in Bangkok visit Gaggan. It's my favorite Indian Restaurant as Gaggan Anand has elevated Indian food to fine dining standards. GAGGAN regularly features in top 50 restaurants in asia ( once it was rated the best as well) and in global list it once peaked to 7th best restaurant in the world. There is a netlfix doco on him as well which is part of a series ( i think its chefs table but happy to be corrected)

In the list of ONE star you can find it:
New Punjab Club is a boisterous tandoor grill house that offers excellent specialties from North India. To their co-founder Syed Asim Hussain, a proud Punjabi, New Punjab Club is his restaurant group Black Sheep Restaurants’ most personal project and brings the best interpretation of his heritage to Hong Kong.

No need to write Pakistani,, their food is a subset of the Indian subcontinent , in spite of their present reputation. Except UK Pakistani restaurants hide their origin under Indian names.
Aww, is baby butthurt? Your food is ours, which Indian eat beef and chicken when these dishes were made? Go eat ur daal

I have had beef in goa in normal restaurants. Chicken is eaten all over India.
Pakistan is a subset of Indian subcontinent.
Awww baby do you want to suck on something?
@Pan-Islamic-Pakistan take a look at this chap thinks he comes from carnivores :coffee:

Great I will have to drop by this one when I am in HK next. There are some other great Pakistani-run joints I have been to in HK. They are a very good, professional community there....and very happy to host a fellow Desi wherever he is from...esp if you can talk some Urdu/Punjabi/Sindhi etc.. :)

@waz @Indus Pakistan
Man, I dont know. I never liked populated areas. Don't get me wrong, I like socializing, also like people and all, but I value peace and quiet. I would want to get a house in a small countryside house and leave the rest of my life there.

Yeah same (as I grew up in the high density crush...so I definitely love/appreciate the peace and quiet much better now)....but its ok to visit now and then.

Pakistani and Indian food may look alike seemingly, but to be honest it is world apart, In taste as well as ingredients. I think both have their own unique taste.

Well Indian food itself varies a lot, its a huge, diverse country. So of course subcontinent will vary a lot too....in fact lot of variance within Pakistan itself too.

first of Indian food is a subset of Pakistani food, 2nd only where Pakistani community is much smaller than Indian they use Indian Pakistan food label. In UK India restaurants use Indian/Pakistani food label, and so will be the case here in Canada.

The term "sub-continent" is an invention of british colonial masters, the same as the name "india" which is another british invention. It's funny how hubris consumes some people. Just like there isn't any historical record that proves that there ever was a country, state, kingdom with the geographical boundaries of british colony "india" ever existing before the sinister brits usurped the Mughal Sultanate.

Pakistan has been and is a country which has its own identity, it's own food, it's own clothing and it's own culture. And it's got nothing to do with hindustan. So stop living in disneyland and be proud of who you are and be sensible human beings.
