First Authentic Picture of China's HGV

Well, we have to wait later to see the real face of this super Chinese HGV.

However, Yutu was not moving at hypersonic speeds and was doing just basic maneuvering not dissimilar to a remote control car. There is a difference of day and night for controlling these two things.

Meanwhile China still succeeded twice in a row.

This is the concrete science, you cannot do this by fluke.

U.S. Navy Sees Chinese HGV As Part Of Wider Threat

The US laser weapon reported to be effective in 1 mile radius (1.6km), a HGV vehicle is Mach 10 or 3 km a second, even the Chinese ASBM terminal speed is nearing mach 10.

This is test platform. It's only like 15kws.

The liquid at 100kw had over a 10 mile range.

Because most folks think it is like the Star Wars laser, yet they ignore the real specification.

Here is the Star Wars type of green laser from China, but it is only used to blind enemy's vision.

The US has several laser systems for instance;
Advanced Tactical Laser - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"The laser will be a 100 kilowatt-class chemical oxygen iodine laser (COIL). It is expected to have a tactical range of approximately twenty kilometers and weigh about 5,000–7,000 kg. "

The US is trying to get solid state lasers past this capability.

The question is not how fast a single laser can travel in a given time, but rather laser being a weapon that's dirt cheap, US could have install unlimited amount of laser turret in quad or hexamount on their ship (Well, not totally unlimited but consider each laser have 30KW power and the power generator on Zummwalt can produce 78MW, that's a lot) . With each shot just costing a few dollar, they can "Spam" those laser shot and secure an area of target that could have give them total protection to any incoming weapon threat. That make their ship virtually indestructible.

Think about it, for each SM3 missile they can use the same money to shoot 10,000,000 shot of laser (Given SM3 is 9 millions per missile)

And only the trial laser is effective at a range of 1.6km @ 30KW, the actual deployment laser are said to be a 90KW model or a 100KW Model, which have a range of 15 to 16 Kilometer

The american laser is not the same one with the Chinese, the American laser is over the light spectrum chemical laser, that would produce massive energy as the physio-chemical properties dictate. It work like a microwave but think of them as like 20-30 times more concentrate than a normal microwave dish or any micromave device.

While visually-able laser have less power as per their light spectum properties, unlike the one in starwar, the US's Laser are not visible

That's why China is also developing the powerful solid state laser with the invisible beam, while those colorful lasers with the visible beam are pretty weak and extremely short in the range.

We too will have our own laser weapons. This is one area that there has been considerable amount of time and money spent on developing laser weapons. We already have lasers that can blind satellites.

According to our military insiders, we did test the 200+ km laser weapon in last year.

Consider the curvature of the earth, you don't need the laser weapon more than 320 km.

BTW, just wait how China will shock the world again with its laser weapon just like its HGV.
