Firing reported along LoC

Or may be it is another back-stabbing stunt by the indians, another Mumbai Drama?

Or maybe pakistan wants to pull its soldiers from swat valley and put them back on india border by ratcheting up the tensions...these kind of theories can be played in both ways...wads the point in this post.

There is no significant information in this news and as such you can hardly discuss about this post. Based on history, such kind of incidents normally happens when covering fire / diversion is given to infiltrators. But cant be said the same thing now, since Indian detection capabilities has increased significantly.

This thread is definetly headed towards flame thread..

Have you been drinking or what?
Give me ONE reason how could this help us out?
So you want to suggest that we should leave the job of killing the terrorist half way and start having a match with you again, a thing that we have never wanted in the past, a thing that always has been 'imposed' on us!

No it cant be played both ways.
Not at this time, but if you still think that it can be, then i'll suggest you re-do your political/global understanding, it might help.

:hitwall:

So what's the argument about then!?

Jammu, Jun 3 (PTI) Pakistan today violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control when they fired on an Indian army patrol party near a forward post at Swajian area of Poonch district, an army official said. During patrolling of LoC, an army patrol party was fired upon from a Pakistani post at Kopra late this afternoon, he said.

Over 15 rounds were fired on the patrol party on indian forward side, he said adding there was no casualty or injury to anyone on Indian side. Indian troops maintained restraint and did not fire back, the official said.

Actually Pakistan has higher positions in Sawjian sector.. It is Mandi area - about 25km from poonch town.. Patrols won't cross over to pakistan in open daylight without risking their life... and 15 rounds sounds like someone clearing a magazine to test the barrel ;-) This is usual border firing by the sound of it
