Not exactly. It was Batman vs Superman comic first, then Batman vs Superman cartoons, then Batman vs Superman cartoon movie and now this.

I can still understand how a superhuman Batman can fight an alien Superman? It makes no sense whatsoever! Superman's strength is unmatched. Batman's strength is limited to his high-tech gear. Remove his gear and all you have is a normal human being

Without giving to much away here, I will just say that Batman will attempt to fight Superman not to win, but to defend himself and keep Superman occupied. There is also another 'element' involved in the conflict. The 'fight' itself won't take up all that much screen time.

but yeah, I don't care how many cool toys Bats has, he can't and never would be able to go toe to toe (for very long) with a guy that can benchpress mountains, survive nuclear explosions and move at light speed.

I can think of half a dozen ways Superman could kill Batman without being with miles of him.

Umm...Did some forget a little thing called Kryptonium? Batmen is cleverer by half than Superman and he sure can figure out how to make Supe go bust.

They are either way exist outside the continuity of Marvel and DC comics.

No, Supes and Bats aren't from the Marvel Universe. There have been several DC/Marvel crossovers over the years though.

The last one being back in the mid 00's when Several DC and Marvel Superheros fought one another.
