KARACHI – The Federal Investigation Agency’s Counter Terrorism wing arrested a suspected terrorist belonging to banned global terrorist outfit Daesh on Tuesday.

The militant, identified as Saif-ul-Islam Khilafati, was managing the banned organization’s social media operations in Pakistan to target and brainwash youth on social media, FIA officials told newsmen.

A Daesh flag, laptop, internet devices, and mobile phones were recovered during the raid conducted, Geo News reported.

The accused, who was operating over 50 social media pages to lure youth into joining Daesh, will be presented in court later today. One of his accomplices had been nabbed by the authorities earlier.

Four Terrorists Killed
In Chaman area of Balochistan, four suspected terrorists were killed during a raid conducted by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in the wee hours of Tuesday.

According to CTD officials, explosives, weapons, and hand grenades were recovered from the slain terrorists’ possession.

Still there are scores of social media accounts where people used to declare army as "amriki agent" and wajib ul qatal. A commoner like me can trace the links of these "students" with famous seminaries in Akora Khattak and Karachi and Multan etc.

Rad ul Fasad should collect the ulemas of every sect at a stage and get a unanimous verdict against terrorism and define every small point in war against terror. Still, the common deobandi/wahabi populace think that taliban (TTP) were right for their demand for "shariah". They still think that our army massacred own people in FATA and Lal Masjid for the sake of dollars. All these confusions in the minds of common people should be wiped out with a strong debate from the forum arranged by ISPR.

Many military families are also deobandis where the elders joined army or worked under Zia regime. Late Gen Hameed Gull was against Zarb e Azb till his death. Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan used to support the narrative of PAF bombing own people in FATA as long as he was in the company of famous difah e Pakistan council guys. Later dr sahab changed his narrative after getting know how with guys of Tehreek Labbaik.

Many journalists came from jamiat background are still confused about our targets and goals in this war in north west areas of Pakistan. They have a "scapegoat" in the form of musharaf who can be blamed for every wrong instead of diagnosing the real issue.

Things should get clear once for all, such guys are very low level operatives in the chain of this whole extremist network..... We should grab the head of this beast!
