Fear the day when I tell name of real Mir Jaffer: Imran Khan

When the limit is crossed people forget everything. History is filled with Civil wars caused by lesser issues, American Civil war was due to slaves.
Life was simple for many in earlier centuries.

These are different times and people are more aware.

- Did Syrian Civil War lead to anything different?
- Did Libyan Civil War lead to satisfactory outcome?

Our people have tolerated deaths of famous Prime Ministers, let alone disqualification of one.

Threshold for mass unrest could be what happened in Sri Lanka. As long as the system can provide, all good.

ISLAMABAD: Warning the opposition, former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Friday said they should fear the day when he would tell name of the real Mir Jaffer.
Imran Khan said this while talking with senior news anchors at Bani Gala in Islamabad. Bol news channel anchor Jameel Farooqui and other anchors including Arshad Sharif, Imran Riaz Khan, Shehzad Iqbal, Khawar Ghumman and Fareeha Idrees were also present on this occasion.
The PTI chief said he misjudged the stakeholders in his government as he thought that corruption was a big problem for them. However, when the time came, he realized that embezzlement was not an issue for them, he said.
He said they miscalculated that the masses would not come out if he was ousted from the PM’s Office. He could not even think about making a coalition government next time, he responded to a query. He said making a government with allies was his biggest political blunder.
The former prime minister said the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had never been in his control. If the ones who made the cases gave them relief too then he could not do anything, he maintained.
He said he would not shake hand with anybody on the matter of corruption. He demanded that date for the general elections should be given right away, otherwise a long march would be carried out.
Talking about Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) former director Mohammad Rizwan, who conducted inquiry against Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Chief Minister Hamza Shehbaz, he said the Sharif brothers did very wrong with Dr Rizwan. The ex-FIA officer lately died of cardiac arrest.
“Next time any public officer will fear from taking action against the murderers,” he said.
To another query, Imran said the accountability watchdog put Aleem Khan into jail and his government had no control over it.

So, for Khan g as well addressing the civil-military imbalance in this country is not a problem. He yearns for a "hybrid" mode of governance where he rules with the backing of the political corps of Generals. As soon as they ditch him, he goes into confrontational mode. How different is he from other politicians then? Pakistani people meanwhile are beginning to realize who actually plays with their livelihoods, the future of Pakistan, and is the real impediment in the path of a prosperous, normal country. They are realizing who destabilize governments and play the role of kingmakers. Why is it so hard for civilian leaders who use public support as a leveraging card to use that public support and growing awareness of the public about the real cause of Pakistan's ailments to actually fix that cause instead?

Until these politicians keep using public ire as a bargaining chip rather than a tool for fixing the actual ruling elite of this country, Pakistan would remain a country where an IMF bailout is all that stands between total collapse and nominally managed chaos (find freedom then; the path to real freedom passes through depoliticization of the institutions of natsec not hybrid governance).

The current guy is but one person, one must ask oneself why does Pakistan keep getting Yahyas, Bajwas, Musharrafs with such unstoppable frequency? The current guy would go and another would be ready to take the reins. This is a structural problem, it cannot be fixed with any minus-one formula. Institutions of natsec (and individuals in these) are not "stakeholders", but subservient organs of the executive branch of the state. That is how normal states function and prosper in our region.

Please understand this and stop cheering these troubling statements from Imran Khan as a sign of defiance, where he just looks out to find a better deal for himself (like other dEfIaNt politicians). Pakistan would not win if the status quo is maintained. Perpetual managed chaos is a loss for Pakistan. The apple cart must be upset.

My assessment is based on the history. When Fatima Jinnah's name was written on street dogs, and when Bhutto was hanged, did this nation come out?

What has changed?

I would love to be proved wrong, but I don't see a real revolution... like French Revolution or the more recent.. Sri Lanka. Even in Sri Lanka, people have come out when they are not left with anything and their families started dying of hunger.
This time the amount of people came out in support of IK is unprecedented. People were not this much aware and engaged in our history.
No-one should test the limits of people. It is as simple as that.

F-16 wali thread should be active now ....USA will give us Block V and even beyond because they have won Pakistan yet again.

Listening to the claim of famous machoman ' ham ney america ko america ki madad say shikast di" will give you real laugh .....we are such a naive and stupid nation.

I don't agree, people should not be insensitive about this current situation and do not speculate and test the limits of people.

Don't lose hope so early, trust in Allah.

if you have gone through the history books....Fatima Jinaah also tried to challenge ....the result was obvious ....even funeral was not allowed in open for some security reasons......

This is not about agreement but about destroying the country - thinking with emotion instead of finding a way forward.

Benazir Bhutto's death motivated some people to burn infrastructure and Pervez Musharraf's "shoot at sight" orders were sufficient to halt unrest. Pakistan Army have limits as well.

I live in UK and earn penalty. I lietrally thinks sometimes to go extreme measure so top stop this nuance once for it all.
Not everyone is like you.

In Pakistan, the first ones to go back to normal would belong to middle and upper middle classes.

Unless.. I am again saying.. unless roti ka masla parr jaey.. like Sri Lanka.

Those who are thinking of Disqualifying IK are the one taking the country toward destruction.
More than 80% Pakistan Army is with IK.

Abhi kal is ny khud kaha tha "Shahbaz Sharif" hai

U-Turn Khan

Lagta hai jalsoun sy disappoint ho gya hai.

Pehlay national security issue py "surprise surprise" khel rahay thy.

Grow up PTI seriously. Someone tell him this is not galli muhallay ka cricket. This is Pakistan.

He is among one of the best in game world of cricket has produced, and you are referring him to "Muhallay ki Cricket"!! How absurd.
Actually his Jalsa are block busters, it is not him but his opponents are shaking in their boots.

As for telling the name of the "Mir Jaffar" he was quiet clear without mentioning the name or designation. Everyone who was capable understood, who he is addressing.
The rest is he is trying to keep his promise that he would not bring the army in to it.
But I am everyone has their limits, IK may reach his limits of tolerance, then Bajwa would be standing bare.
I am sure sooner or later it would happen. We all are sure, IK knows exactly who did what, and he is keeping this in the tank. I hope he named the person sooner than later.

It is not easy to disqualify him. And even if he is - PTI can continue. This is not the end.

Also, if you understand Pakistan Army then you will know that it works like a family unit. Political likes and dislikes on a personal level take a backseat when it comes to national security of the country.

I know brother but anything can happen. A small group to charge and rest follow/. Anyway, overall I think the same.

"We can't revolt. We are not trained. We live in a conformist society. We have don't question our parents, SHOs, teachers, etc and think obeying them in all condition is right thing to do. Our society has mould our society laws so to enforce such thing like parent/SHO/Teacher beating children/ people is legit.

This serviant attitude is hard to change. Plus, nationhood is lose when we just start thinking of ourselves. The selfish attitude arises due to shortsightedness like protecting the clan/pride like wolves/lions. We just think of our family and extended family.

In UK, NHS (Dr) wanted to protest. However, it cd leave patients at jeopardy as service is essential. So the union asked UK postal service to protest on their behalf and they did. This iscalled nation.

When we are selfish, we just need incentives for our family/tribe/clan. The collective concious is not there. As a results, it is easy to govern a country like Pak using force. Overall, we haven't evolved from feudal age."
