Frontier Corps (FC) recovered weapons and ammunition from Kodwan area of Kohlu district on Saturday.
According to FC spokesman that following intelligence information launched search operation in Kodwan area of Kohlu district and recovered huge cache of weapons ammunition and explosives from the camps of banned militant organization.
Forces also destroyed the hideouts of a banned militant organization.
A search operation was launched against militants belonging to banned organization in district during that huge cache of weapons ammunition and explosives were confiscated.
According to spokesperson militants wanted to use the material for sabotage acts.
He said that the recovered weapons and ammunition included 59 RPG 7 rockets 55 MM 82 mortar rounds 68 MM 66 mortar rounds 52 MM 82 fuses 133 MM 12.7 gun rounds 05 anti tank mines 03 anti personnel mines 1 M 72 missile bomb barrel 49 bombs 190 RR missile fuses 2 boxes of timer mines 2 guns hundreds of rounds and other materials.
