i am living in Pakistan and I know better that beggars are more on streets than in previous years and alot of educated youth are migrating to foreign nations,I think your friend remains in areas of rich,I live in company of middle and poor class

We have these idiots not knowing relation between tax collection and budget deficit and as usual only thing they need to know to become a PhD in economy is dollar exchange rate ..... do we use dollar to pay salaries and government expenditures in Pakistan ? Yeah can't believe a guy converted domestic tax collection in dollars and said it decreased in dollar terms. This is what happens when have only eaten donkey all your life.

Major tax collection is done in later half of the year especially from March to June.For example tax collection in 2017-2018 as shown below clearly shows the collection in later half of the year is more than the first half.

July 2017---Dec 2017 tax collection------------1721.652 billions rupees

Jan 2018----Jun 2018 tax collection-------------2120.484 billions rupees

Total revenue collection target is Rs 5200 billion.Including both tax based and non tax based
Tax based is collected by FBR and non tax based is actually govt income from other sources including State Bank Of Pakistan,telecom licensing and privatization etc.

No need to have external loans for domestic spending.Can borrow from private Banks and from State bank of Pakistan as well.

Subhan Allah ,you know how much internal collection is used for foreign borrowing? We are import driven country with 1:2.5 Export to Import also our debt financing is reaching to 2 Trillion Rs with remaining going to defense spending around 1.69 trillion Rupees .So genius model is going to fail as PSDP to move this country is needed around 700 -800 Billion Rupees plus loss making enterprises .
