Fawad Chaudry to be appointed as minister of science and technology

Asad umar just an hour ago on a talk show said that there is a list of people that they made to arrest. I don’t remember his actual words but that was the gist of it.

they have been saying that for months regarding arresting looters post the video if available

A major reshuffle has taken place in the federal cabinet, with the portfolios of several ministers having been changed.

The portfolio of information minister has been taken away from Fawad Chaudhry, who has been named as the Federal Minister for Science and Technology.

Minister of state for interior Shehryar Afridi has now been named the Minister for States and Frontier Regions (Safron).

I liked him initially, but he’s made several mistakes. One of the first was regarding the cost of operating IK’s chopper. He should have had concrete facts before spouting figures and, when challenged for his sources, he shouldn’t have told journalists to ‘go google it’.

Being aggressive is fine, but that doesn’t mean spouting claims before you have all the facts and evidence/sources to back up said claims.

Depends on the reasons behind his dismissal from IM. IM requires someone who communicates carefully & effectively, FC made quite a few errors. I don't believe he's corrupt, and perhaps his talents will be more effectively utilized in the MoST.

I don't see a notification for the new Finance Minister in the official notification - why is Hafeez Shaikh being mentioned for that post?

Brigadier (R) Ijaz Ahmed Shah as Minister of Interior? If true, that's a good appointment given his experience in the ISI.

Does it really matter, given that the policies have a very difficult path ahead, no matter who or what? It is PMIK that matters the most.
