beast of a tank . only if Nazi Germany had more earlier in the war and it was more reliable the outcome of Eastern front could have been a lot different.

1st Gen: T-55

p90l.jpg

decent armor, gun, light, fast, and a lot built.

2nd Gen: Chieftain

best gun of it's generation and armor when it got the stillbrew upgrade. only shortcoming was it under powered engine.

3rd Gen: Merkava IV Windbreaker

best looking tank in the world IMHO. great gun, great armor, good speed, plenty of room inside the tank so its comfortable.

4th Gen: T-14 Armata

Russians have set the bar for what a 4th gen tank should look and have.

King Tiger looks the meanest of the bunch.

One tank doesn't make a bar.

T-34 /85 shall be regard as best tank of WWII. A great balance between firepower, speed and armour while easy to produce, reliable and easy to maintain.

The German king tiger series tank were awesome in armour and firepower but fails in weight, speed and reliabilities. Expensive to repair if damage or broke down. Looks good but in real wartime is not very practical.
