This politically motivated move will only help Pakistan in the long term. The USA will soon comprehend that they are mishandling Pakistan and coercion will only strengthen our stand and resolve. Conditions set forth for Pakistan in FATF are to be adequately addressed or Pakistan will face the music.

Pakistan's relations with Russia and China wasn't good enough to save it in FATF motion because there are many countries outside these two. China was reluctant to support Pakistan in this matter due to its strong anti-terrorism posture and operating principles.
