Zakaria is a dumbass. He still thinks Pakistan supports the Taliban. Ties to the Afghan Taliban were cut in late 2000 and military offensives against the militants crossing the border began in 2003 under Musharrafs control.
Now we have a full scale offensive against the Taliban and 3 million people homeless, tons of international acknowledgment and this guy doesn't cease to be a dumbass.
Haqqani would rip Zakaria in a debate any day.
